It has been some time since the last update, and I have been busy with work and my last semester in college. I finally got everything together and compiled this update:

The first major update is the reworking of how the galleries work: instead of displaying each image in its own static page, an overlay pops up with the image inside. I also added functionality to move forward and backward through the gallery's images, instead of having to open each one individually.

One of the side effects of this change is that the pieces no longer have descriptions. This is not a big loss, however, since the vast majority of descriptions were meaningless, especially those in the Sketches section. I may bring descriptions back in the future if needed.

As far as content is concerned, I have added a number of new sketches. In addition to this, over the last few months I have designed and developed two websites for guilds in World of Warcraft. Both of these designs are here as well.

Several people I know have requested a desktop wallpaper of the Scarface piece, so here it is in 2 sizes (to download, click on the size you want, wait for the image to load, then right-click and select "Save Target As"):

I have a few things that I've been working on that will be put up in the near future, as soon as the holidays are over and I take my graduate school exam.

I have come to the conclusion that it is perhaps not the best idea in the world to put approximate dates in news posts. For instance, the previous item, dated October 3rd, promises updates "in about two weeks". It is now the start of December, and here are said updates:

In addition to four new pieces in the sketches section (one of them with a special description!), several major things have been added. First of all the "Ironborn" tattoo is finally finished, and placed in a special "Works in Progress" section on the left, which catalogues the process that I went through to design and create the finished piece. Next we have a self-portrait that I did for a multimedia course, and with that opens the "Design" section.

Finally, clicking the "About" link at the top of the site actually leads to something other than a blank page, and here you can learn more about me and my interests.

I have acquired a new scanner, and as such there is an update to the gallery. Five new images were added (see sidebar on left). The tattoo "Ironborn" is also nearing completion, the entire finished piece and a work in progress section should be up by the end of the week.

It seems that my scanner did not survive being transported to college, and as such there have been no updates to the site. As soon as this issue is resolved (i.e. I find the will to spend half an hour in the library scanning) there will be several new works, as well as an item in the Works In Progress section (the design process for the "Ironborn" tattoo). Expect the update sometime within the next week.

Finally got a website up and running. It's still under construction, but images in the "gallery" section are viewable. I hope to finish up the site within a week or so. Also at that time I will add another five or six images to gallery, so check back then.
